Quick one for you chaps -bought a new lamp today from Ikea and forgot to get a bulb to go with it.

The lamp requires an E14 Max 40W

Is this just any SES bulb? Can I get a daylight bulb version?

(btw I know you chaps like to call bulbs lamps but that would have really have made no sense)

E14 - small edison screw (SES)

You can get ANYTHING you like, as long as the fitting is SES, and the consumption is not more than 40W (LED,CFL, halogen, tungsten, HID)????

OK mate?

Nowt like a good old 100W bulb

You'd light up the whole street with 100w :D
