What does a PIR do?

What does in need to make it work?

What does it 'do' when it works?......not just 'turns lights on'. More along the lines of 'HOW' it does it

A pir needs a permanent feed from your dis board,

Permanent feed = to leave the the pir still dectecing you while you are in the room to leave the lights. Also your switch wire, neutral and Earth to the pir, then just your switch wire to your light and your earth and neutral coming from board to light.

That really depends on your chosen method for wiring.Then thinking about it further, take a traditionl ceiling rose wiring, where is the switch fed from?

the switch is fed from the live from board to junction box to 1 way switch basically if you take the junction box out of the equation it is just a one way switch lighting diagram

I am a little unsure of what you mean gingerbolt. Sorry. The cable that goes over to the next light (if we are assuming both lights are to be switched together) I would call the 'loop switch line'. Still no JB required as the connection point will be in the ceiling rose.

I think we are trying to run before we can walk here. We are struggling with the English language, computer literacy and electrical skills.

Gingerbolt, have you received any training at all yet? I think the original premise was a bit odd, if you had a bit of basic training then the answer would probably be a little clearer, but you would also probably have realised that the question was not really coherent.

Rather than trying to make up strange scenarios where you don;t understand the question yourself you would be better off asking clearer questions aimed at things that you don't understand.
