LPG

Hi,

I've just bought a new (2nd hand) van and it Is petrol or LPG. Having never had anything to do with LPG before I don't really know the do's n don'ts.

I take it you have to start it up on petrol then flick the switch which changes it over to gas. The Gas light flashes for about a minute then comes on permantly until you switch it back over to petrol. Can you turn the engine off whilst it's on gas?

Any info would be appreciated.

Yes start on petrol then switch, LPG costs about 20 pence a mile but does have a large initial cash outlay Matty. The are plenty of websites that can answer your queries better than I can Matty.
