yes. many people (inc van drivers) assume vans have the same speeds as a car

I thought it was common knowledge. We have that in our company vehicle policies.

you'd think that, but many are completely oblivious to it. most people know trucks have a lower speed limit, but no idea about vans. many dont even know cars have different speeds whilst towing

Also I believe 'car derived' vans....astravan, escort van etc. have a different limit compared to purpose built vans....Transit, Transporter, Vito etc
