Mac help

hello chaps,

wifes mac says 'startup disk full' the memory was low so put a 1gig in (it reconises it on 'about this mac' but the hard drive says 300kb?

any ideas on how to sort this out

I've had this problem in the past. It's not as serious as it sounds. Have a look at those links and if you get nowhere let me know and i'll ask my brother who is a serious Mac geek!

Good idea is to delete all the junk off the drive - and dont forget to empty your trash can once you've deleted them. A handy tool to find big files is "Disk Inventory X" - google it its a free download
