Mothercare closing may stop some of the socket covers getting on the market. For years they’ve stubbornly refused to recognise the danger of them.

Sorry Tony but Poundland has taken the mantle on that....no one goes to mother care anymore!

Just coincidentally I worked on a house a while back where nearly every single socket had damaged shutters and the L & N pins were exposed due to the use of these plastic contraptions .
