Never heard of that stuff TBH   Can't they order you  one in ?

Otherwise just tee off by butting it against the main run.
Special order from the manufacturer apparently. I'll tee off and glue an off cut under one of the butted covers with some solvent so the gap is covered. (Must be the OCD kicking in again!).

Sounds like it OnOff ,  you do realise there is no requirement to join the trunkings together .  You'll be earthing it next !!!   If it looks a bit naff use some white mastic on the joints.

I've worked with a guy with OCD , drove me up the wall TBH.

A couple of classics were:-

Steel conduit work above a suspended ceiling , black enamel conduit ,  I dropped off  about 20 Galvo Tee boxes we had in stock , " Just use these up above the ceiling guys"    He couldn't cope with it , I had to insist he used them up 'cos I'm not buying black ones till they're are.

He did use them but later in the week the apprentice told me he had brought some black paint from home and painted them all .

Another time he would'nt tube in and out of twin socket boxes on a horizontal run but fitted a tee box with the socket bushed to it  " In case someone has to change the box and you can't run the other leg of the ring through the box anyway"

Just remember for singles in trunking, all joints must be IP4x or better now! ;)
Just had a thought. Say you do a crimped joint in some TWE within trunking, would the whole run of trucking need to be IP4X or just for a certain distance each side of the joint??... assuming you don't use heat shrink that is ;)

Don't recall any problems with trunking to justify the change TBH .....just braying  !!

I think the besuited people that you see in the trade publications must have 6 monthly meetings to discuss what they can meddle with next .

The amount of rules and regulations we are faced with in this trade is unbelievable ,and it costs us more than other trades just to be able to trade.....just paying !!
