Hi, I have an existing solar/battery storage system (growatt sph3600 plus two ML33RTA 3.3kwh batteries). We’re looking to double the battery capacity. Ideally with a single 6.5kwh battery. Can the 6.5kwh battery (gbli6532) be mixed with the two existing 3.3kWh batteries (ML33RTA)? That would be the ideal configuration due to the physical space restrictions.

Growatt do have some odd specifications. I know on my SPH6000 only two batteries can be used, I cant see any such restriction on yours, oddly the inverter rating is identical when fed from batteries - max output 3kW.

You could always add a second inverter an AC couple them?
