Part L Suggest "One way" is to have fittings that can only take energy efficient bulbs...1 in 4 should be energy efficient. pretty much anything except a BC or ES holderbut i was told that i can get around that if i have it in writing from the customer that they only want BC/ES fittings only, or at less than 25%
Neither have I , and probably never will . I think we have enough to deal with as it is. I think there is a point of law which states that the customer/resident is responsible for the state of the installation ( by employing an electrician , presumably) As I said on earlier post, I don't see our role as telling customers what light fitts they can or can't have.same here. only know what ive been told, never read it myself or anything
