Motor wiring help

Hello, I rescued this motor from an old GE washing machine and I would like to use the motor for other purposes like building a sander, the motor apparently does not need a capacitor,it use some kind of relay which I have. I found this diagram but I really do not understand how to make the physical connection, I would greatly appreciate your help.
