seems ALOT of people have been getting questions on motors in their 301 exam, this is my weakest area aswell.

was wondering if anyone could throw up some facts that will be likely to be asked for certain motors?

Cage motors?

Capacitor start?

Capacitor start, Capacitor run?

wound rotor induction motors

etc etc. ; ..

if you put motors in the serach this forum on the main page there is loads about motors and you will find everything you need.

thanks mate, tutor seems to think it will just be identifying the parts on the drawing, for eg "find the field winding" and "which mototr drawing is this?" etc...

true?
