need urgently help in improving power factor

dear all

my boss assigned to me improving our factory power factor

am not specialist in this field but i start

this factory did not have capacitor bank before also no any power factor meter to show me the current value so,

i buy power meter for measuring S , Q , P , PF , THD for volt and current The device name is MPR-46S

i already connect it but the supplier of this device told me connect this one for 10 days after that remove and return it back to him 

and he will give me excel sheet that for all values that the device saved

the problem for me is if i will fix reactor / filter for harmonics or no 

i usually check the device reading all the time THD 0.7% but i do not now this value harm or no

and also after i determine the capacitor needed to the system which filter i will fix or i will not fix

i need the help from any one have any experience in this field because am afraid from this point

The easiest way is contact a company that will survey your factory and supply an automatic PFC unit.

A/ the unit only switches in what is needed.

B/ you get a guarantee.

Over correction is just as costly if the factory pays for VAHr.

2- A max , A min and A average

3- THDV between Each Phase and THDI for each line current

4- KW , KVAR , KVA and PF for each reading
