ah, thats windows for you,

when I plug any sort of device into my puter that has pictures on it my puter says something like

you have plugged in a device that contains pictures, would you like to import them

job done

You are most kind Mr Duck .   What would I do with a card reader though ?

The big problem with this photo software is they make the assumption that everyone is computer literate .   There are no prompts , it just opens up and sits there ..and I sit there looking back , thinking OK what do I do now , give me a clue ,   I start thrashing around click this ,click that & suddenly I get a box that says  What do you want to do ?      Import photos ?   YES   FFS just do it .

Dropbox kicks in straight away whenever a device is plugged in and everything is in the clouds

jeez, I tried to use my lads PC with windows on it last week to save getting my laptop out,

I gave up after an hour of doing nothing,
