New flat. Want dimmable led light kit - what do I buy?

Hi. I want to put spots in ceiling and bathroom. My flat is a new build just a very real bulb hanging down. What kit /type of lights/bulbs do I need to buy if I want to put dimmable lights in the ceiling?

the bathroom is unlikely to have a lamp holder hanging down ,
the big problem with flats and fitting downlights is the flat upstairs, you need to find out if you have a void between you and the upstairs flat,
you can still have down lights if there is no void but its a lot of messing about,
as for the dimming if you buy the dimmable lamps/ lights then you can dim them but if you have a pull cord switch( that is one with a string hanging down) then you will need to move the switch ,as well

If it’s new build flat then it’ll almost certainly have a concrete ceiling above the ceiling you can see

I had a pull chord ceiling switch in my bathroom. I made it two way and put a dimmer outside the bathroom door. It is so much more comfortable at night when you really don’t want a bright light when using the facilities!! It is also soft start and quieter,
