Are you a registered engineer? If you have an engineering degree why would you want to work as an electrician?I have a bachelor in Electrical engineering but i want to work as and electrician.
There are a few members on here who have engineering degrees who actively work as electricians. I tried office based work and it was not for me, I like getting dirty. Are you a registered engineer? If you have an engineering degree why would you want to work as an electrician?

Karras, you will need to convert to the UK ways. This will mean that you will have to take the 17th edition exam in order to qualify. Its experience that you will need, academic qualifications are all well and good but to work 'on tools' will require experience.
As a foot note I am in Lewisham on Thursday of this week, for a good breakfast at maggies cafe near Tesco's, a full breakfast from 20 items for the grand sum of £5.95. Then a second fix on two dental surgeries.
