New Member back from oz.

Hi,

Emigrated to Australia 9 years ago, been gradually getting more and more homesick every year so we have made a decision to return to the uk, somewhere around the southcoast, sussex.

Work has been great over here and really well paid, im currently working in the mines in qld as underground electrician, the money is great $140k a year with a free house for the family. The shift roster is 7 on 7 off which is really good for the family time and travel, but we need to go back.

I was doing fit out work around the country before i left, great money but a lot of hours and working away would get back into that for a while to get a foothold in uk again, but will give most things a go.

Any advice about up coming contracts around the south or work in sussex would be greatly recieved also any one interested in giving oz a go feel free to ask away.

Didn't think that work situation was that bad.

At least you guys have the snow, we are in flood danger up in qld and down south they are on fire danger.

Money is good here but 12 hr shifts in a coal mine hurt a bit, would be happy on 30k doing a 40hr week, does such a beast exist in uk?

id have said dependant on your job type maybe more realistic would be 20 K:Salute
