Hey guys,

stumbled across your forum when looking for advice about getting in to work.

Been working for years in the pub trade, and the hours and stress were starting to ruin my life at home, so I found myself (after getting advice from a few people) that an electricians course might suit me. Got myself city and guilds wiring regs 17th edition, building regs and so on (2382, 2392 and 2393) and am now looking to join a company as a mate or some such and get some proper practical experience.

Good to be here and hopefully get some advice and share some stories etc.

Good luck, you will need to do a fundamental foundation course like the C&G 2357/2365 to get anywhere bud, alot of employers wont touch you without either having that or at least studying it. Do you have a driving licence and vehicle?

Apologies if what I have said sounds harsh bud,

Andy Guinness

I thought this might be the case, I'm looking at the courses at the moment, seeing where I can go with it. I do have a full clean license and vehicle though.

Thanks

Marko
