I'm new to the forum so hello :Salute

I have been doing a sport btec course in my college and half way through the course I realised there are no good jobs in sport unless you want to teach or your a professional athlete lol.

So for the past 6 month I have been researching about the electrical trade and what qualifications I need and i have already got my own notepad with notes about being an electrician. I'm determined to become an electrician and I know it will be hard hard work but I know it will pay off.

My question is do you think an apprenticeship is a better way to learn as I need to learn from the beginning or go to college and learn that way ?

Also if anyone knows of anyone around the croydon area or south London who is willing to take on an apprentice I would appreciate a contact number or email address. :Salute

Sorry for the life story thanks for taking your time to read !!!!

Doing an apprenticeship is an excelent way to learn.

I would suggest you contact the JIB, as they will have a list of registered companies in your area.

You might even be ableto access the list at their website?
