Nexa Remote Controlled Dimmer

Hello,

This is probably completely unrelated to what usually gets posted here.

I have just bought a Nexa EYCR-2 remote controlled transmitter (remote control) and reciever (socket)

The idea is that you can plug your lamp to the reciever and control the brightness from the remote.

Manual says

1) plug in reciever to wall socket

2) plug in lamp to reciever

3) click 'on' to turn on the light.

4) click 'on' TWICE and the light will start to dim

5) click 'on' again to halt the dimming at the desired level

My problem is that nothing happens at step 4) ...light comes on....but no bl**dy dimming happens!

Anyone else bought this product and managed to get the dimming to work?

I live in norway, and bought the product and am using it here in norway.

Have you got a lamp in the fitting which is suitable for dimming?

Not ALL lamps are dimmable....particularly LED and Fluorescent ones, without special,control gear OR special,lamp

Just saying
