Nexus grid fuse module wiring

I am revamping kitchen and installing a Nexus Grid plate with fuse unit for cooker hood. I have taken a supply from back of socket to the module and on to outlet for hood but fuse only has 2 terminals both marked L. So I have L N and E going to hood and L N and E from supply with fuse in between. What goes into the the 2 terminals both marked L.

L in  &  L out  go to those terminals  .    I presume its just a fuse unit  ...NOT a    switched spur , in which case you need some connectors or Wagos . 

Preferably I'd dump the  thing & get a switched spur .

What goes into the the 2 terminals both marked L.

The L 

Should also have a DP switch and that will take care of the N and wagos or similar for the E
