I was once with NICEIC then I went over to NAPIT. Now I'm debating on going back. What do you guys think?

I've only ever been with elecsa and its very very easy. Only problem is NIC is the most well known.

Bit of both I'd say Dave. I'm very unhappy with all the promises NAPIT make but don't deliver on. I'm a member of a regional committee you see, don't know whether you are too?

Anyway things get discussed and I become even more bitter, but I'm not allowed to talk about these things

Thus far it has been a waste of time, I've yet to see anything productive come from it. I'm guessing you're with NAPIT now Wozz?

Well I phoned NICEIC today and inquired about free transfer. They told me yes it was possible and who was I currently with I told them NAPIT. They then told me to bog off.......not really They said that I could transfer over and that would include the bolt on DI periodic inspections at no extra cost. They also asked me when I had my last assessment, I told them February they said they would go to this date, even though my renewal is due for this November, so and extra few months for free, bonus! Still undecided though......Hmmmm.......

why not join them, and in jan phone elecsa and ask for a transfer and that u have just had an assesment, may get a whole free year! lol

Yes you have to provide evidence of your last assessment, which prompted me to call NAPIT and ask them why I've never had any paperwork to say I've passed this last one or previous ones since I've been with them. I didn't like his answer so that resulted in a big argument with me telling him what I thought of his answer and attitude

They are keeping the NICEIC logo its just the group name that is changing/changed.

Should be no problem to get AC You will get on fine with Rod, Coffee black with no sugar, just make sure you have all the right paperwork and think up some good questions for him when he comes.
