No convector heat on a dimplex CXLN econ 7 storage heater

Hi guys, newbie here,

i wonder if any of sparky` s can help me please.

I have a dimplex CXLN econ 7 storage heater, the night storage side of things work fine, it is when i use the convector boost side it is not working.

The main on/off switch was playing up i have replaced that now, but when i switch it on the light on the switch does not glow, but in the off position and turn down the little thermostat dial i get a slight glow on the switch but still no boost heat. Any ideas?

If there is still stored heat in the Storage bit, then "Boost" convector will not work.
