Those of us older members will remember this genuine talented star..

95 so I understand from the news.

That brings back memories of many classic B&W films...

Mind you Telly was only B&W in them days anyway! :_|

X-Factor eat you heart out.

Another TRUE celebrity passes on.

:| :Salute

Influenced a lot of other comedians, Lee Evans in particular.

Will be deeply mourned in Albania.

My favourite all time Actor and Comedian, was Sir Norman Wisdom.

Absolutely fabulous Gentleman. :(

Rest in Peace, Sir Norman. :Salute

I used to love watching his films, A natural talent and very funny . RIP Sir Norman Wisdom. You was a national favourite both here and in Albania. :Salute

Loss of another legend and true cinematic star. Kids these days don't know what true humour is and could learn a lot from his comedy. RIP Sir Norman!

When he was knighted by the Queen he turned to walk away and did one of his fake trips, Her Majesty was amused apparently.

Wonder if people will mourn the demise of the modern stand-up guys with their humour based on bad language and pi$$ taking , probably not .

my good friends(and best mans) missus worked in a pub he often frequented,

they simply rang the nursing home up and someone came and collected him.

lovely bloke though, he was still doing his Mr Grimsdale last year when I saw him.

there is a bronze of him outside Douglas town hall on the Isle of Man on a summer seat, and George Formby on the ukele(spell) leaning on a lamp post,

try google, it might be there.
