I work a lot with another local sparky, we work for each other on bigger stuff and two handed stuff.

So he,s pricing for some welding sockets and 13 A sockets in a steel fabricators, we both do a quote and are very close. We agree that the price is spot on so he phones the guy before we type it up and was met with a stunned silence .

Another one wants it done for sod all. headbang

Best of it is that if he's running a fabrication shop he'll be charging a lot more than your

Ask them to fabricate you something, then when he tells you how much, tell hims it too much.

See what he says then.

I way of getting th epoint accross. Used this method before at a printers and it worked.

I don't think he'll be phoning back . We have learnt that the estate owners have their own sparks who use 2nd hand material and generally lash stuff up.

The board was an obselete SqD so breakers were to cost
