How long before the Part Pee notifying database explodes with input overload ?

With not exactly every electrician notifying (or not)  every socket they stick on the wall throughout the UK (except Scotland  and different notifying in Wales )   ..how large would this data base be ?

I remember a comment about a certain local building control who were deleting all the Part Pee stuff flooding as they no one to deal with it .

I notice in the list of notified works , the last four jobs have not been ticked to show they were passed on to LBC , I don't really care as its out of my hands once its clicked .  Just wondering .

Well, i believe BUT i could well be wrong, that it is not in your hands to start with ....as it is the responsibility of the customer to notify.

As I said I may well be wrong...see wife for scathing criticism

its the owners responsibility to comply with with part p. the customer can choose to get a spark who can notify themselves, or they can get a spark / diy it and get labc to deal with the notification. but once a spark notifies it, then its upto the scam to sort the rest

probably 0.

only prosecutions would be for dangerous work (very unlikely to be anything over 1), or using a scam logo (more likely)
Prosecutions for dangerous work fair enough, but you wouldn't be doing dangerous work, and that's not related to notifying or not anyway.

So if the chance if prosecution for non notified work is close to zero, why do you spend £hundreds a year to notify stuff?

Just asking?

Because you can't do any jobs that are "notifiable"   Dave .

With two small builders , I do  what they call "Special  Locations "      ( Bathrooms & kitchens  to you & me )    And new builds or extensions under Building Control .

As with gas work , they just want the job done , no hassle , certified at the end .

Big problem getting a building job "Passed off"   without gas & electric certs .
