Believe it or not you can actually get them from CPC. FFS, thought they were banned years ago. Something to do with 'A joint having to be disassembled by means of a tool', so that is why Midgets and Normals were banned [and YES they are called Midgets and Normals and NOT Screwits, Screwits was the company that made them]...bring back Blakeley tape and the 'flying tape splice' is what I say......harrrrrumph
Well, he is a 'handyman'............... :coathow many hands does that guy have ...........3 at 30sec and 4 at 1min 8sec LOL
I know no-one will agree with me, cos you have always been told it is wrong, but i dont have a problem with taped up chocblocks at all, as long as they are done well and show a degree of finesse.
I do the joints so that they double back and lie against the cables (loop in, loop out and cable to the fitting) and then double back again to the light fitting, taping up the joint and all the cables together, so pulling on one cable doesnt put any strain on the joint connections. And it looks neat.
