Old cable colours

it will always be red, yellow and blue to me lol

how is that different to red white blue then? the proper colours?

in 20years people will be saying WTF is wrong with brown black grey, Im not changing to red yellow blue, that is stupid,

think about it, things change, so should we.

When I attended an ECA training day for the then new Blue 16th ed (2001) we were given advanced notice of the new colour codes. The question was asked "are traffic lights & poisonous berries changing to brown as well..?"

We were informed that brown, black & grey was a combination that no country used so it was chosen to **** everybody up equally!

Aparrently I heard through the IEE that some countries were pushing for black, black, grey!
