I have been working with electrics for around 30 years, my Dad was an electrician and I use to accompany him on jobs from a young age as I was small enough to get into the little gaps...
I have had some electrical training, a previous job was working for Seeboard exchanging electric meters, but it was very limited and focused on the task in hand. But I have picked up all sorts from tinkering and reading up.
