"OPEN" lighting

I have a customer who has just asked me to source a lit "OPEN" sign. The sign is going to be outdoors and needs to be really bright so that it is seen during daylight hours, it will be on a dull lime green and white background.

The kind of size that tey are after is 600 x 300, but that can change dependant on the sign.

So, the question is,,,,, does anyone have a source for this kind of thing?

Normally we just go to a local sign-writer/maker, I doubt there is an off the shelf product but I may be corrected.

Yes mate, all we do is supply the connection, they come fit the sign and connect to our spur or isolator.

I have a feeling that they are after something like the LED ones you get in a kebab house, but for outside.

IMHO I don't think that even if they got a weatherproof one that it'd be bright enough

Neon, had some made for a job a while ago along with some cold cathode for inside. Found a place in Thorton Heath that made it for me but sure you can ask someone nearer you.

Enclosed weatherproof enclosure, with clear perspex front - nice bright light source within, and vinyl cut-out of text stuck to the front?
