I guess it would be no use having an Ornithology sub-forum on here as we would not be able to describe seeing Great ****, Blue ****, Coal ****, Marsh ****, in fact any member of the Parus family!

Not so sure about the thrushes?

Can we describe them?...

What about birds spotted in S****horpe?

The latter 2 seem OK!

Sensor software needs a tweak by the forum sw authors I think. Don't think it's Admins problem!!!

:^O :^O:^O :D :D:D ]:) ] :) ]:)

Could always say.... Great Breast...Blue Breast... Coal Breast ... Great Crested Breast I suppose.

Can we refer to male chickens ? We had two once, called Willy and Dick. :red card

what about the crested cormorant called a ****

and the great bustard

I am just laughing my head off at the great use of the english language.

Well done on a light hearted interesting post.

I thought that the s**g was a different bird to the cormorant though they look very similar.

I had to chg the word above else it would have been all *!
