Outlook 2010 on my HTC desire S

Just got a Desire S and want to put access my emails account from it.

Sorted my Hotmail account no probs, but how the hell do you access emails from Outlook 2010. I have installed and run the HTC Sync application but still cant add the outlook account to the phone.

Its really starting to cave my head in, so hopefully someone with a little more know how can help

I don't quite understand what you are trying to achieve..

Are you wanting to access your old emails that are stored within outlook, or are you wanting to receive just your new emails to your phone?

I have a Desire and an iPad (no bashing please) and have access to all my accounts on either of these devices... I can also access them through web mail... I have 1 x gmail, 1 x yahoo and 5 x host accounts set up

On my phone I use k9 mail to access my email

Just trying to set it up so I receive new emails. Managed to set it up to receive mail from hotmail ok

Have you set up the HTC to the email account ?And in outlook (somewhere) in the tools or settings for the email if your on POP then you need to tick a box that says LEAVE A COPY ON THE SERVER for xx DAYS or UNTIL DELETED

It looks like I need to find the domain name for the email account. Everything else is filled out ok username password etc

Who is your email account with?

yep, your outlook account is just a sync with a normal e.mail domain,

you will have something like [email protected] and that is what outlook syncs to, there is no such thing as @outlook.co.uk ,

ask someone that sends you e.mail to the outlook address who they send it to.

You'll more than likely need the pop and smtp server address swell,, you should be able to find all the info on your suppliers website.
