I need some downlights with a larger than normal bezel

existing holes are supposed to be 74mm, but they are far from round,

and look like they have been cut with a chainsaw.!!!

brushed chrome, or similar,

customer intends on re-using the existing LED lamps, so I really only need the fitting if possible.

Steps TLC sell a down lighter converter kit for about £4 each available in chrome white and brass I think. Think they would be just the job for this.

ML HCC is the product code for the chrome one.

Most gimble type downlights are 75mm cutout, i know Aurora are except they have a small rim. I had a similar problem a few weeks back and i think it was Knightsbridge gimble ones that had a larger rim
ye,

the lights currently fitted need 65mm or thereabouts,

but some of the holes are so bad there are gaps at the edges of the rim, looks to be maybe a 10mm rim on them, the holes are over 80mm in places.

Not that I am pushing TLC here 😀 But their kit covers holes up to 120mm

fitted them in my bathroom, been looking for years to find a replacement for the old gimbal style brass halogen DLs I had. Only annoyance is the built in lamp - can't change them (without some surgey)

I'm not pushing TLC either BUT......these will cover a 150mm diameter hole:

I used 21 before Xmas and they work really well.
They look ok, but I would be wary of installing too many oversized fittings on a small ceiling, they tend to take over a bit in the daylight. Best to go with a gimbal fitting, the cut outs are a bit bigger and they have the option of using them in a direction. I did a few last week where I made the hole bigger using the" existing hole size arbor bit within the new sized arbor bit" trick which I learnt from this forum, works brilliant.
