Hi, I cannot leave my battery connected as it is draining overnight. I am trying to locate the source of the problem, and have checked the drain whilst pulling all the fuses I can find, but the drain is persisting no matter which fuses I pull.

I believe I am right in thinking that it cannot be a faulty switch or component, or something inadvertently left open, because if that were the case then the drain should stop when the fuse for the relevant circuit is pulled. I am therefore wondering whether it is some component upstream of the fusebox - and if so, anybody any ideas how to locate and repair? Getting desperate now!!

I take it you have some  means of measuring the current being taken from the battery.

Leaky alternator diode?  Check its not going to the starter, due to muck/moisture in the solenoid.

I'm not familiar with your vehicle, but are there multiple cables coming together close to the battery? If so split them up and test.

Has anything been added after-market, such as audio gear, lighting, or a tracker, bypassing the fuse box?
