I have been asked to do some pat testing on a yearly basis but not sure what to charge...? what to you guys charge not sure if I charge an hourly rate + so much per item tested or just price per appliance tested.. Your thoughts and ideas please would be a great help

Thanks

Chas

50 items would take 6 hours!
Depends on the site, most you can do a bunch in no time once you get under a desk and crack on. I think I'd struggle to take 6 hours to do 50 on average on every job.

i did 40 in three hrs in a shop last month

only got a small tester KT71 so all readings need to be written down

I charge 2.00 per item and do 100 plus items per day , don't do much PAtesting now as i can't stand it.

Ste :)
