one of the funniest things Ive ever had though was in NZ when someone told one of the girls its was a massive insult to give an 'Irishman' an un-opened beer,

they were bringing out the beer for the guys and mine was always opened for me, 'til one of the kiwi guys mentioned it,

she got on her horse and explained to him it would be an insult to me if mine wasnt opened, frick if everybody didnt start laughing, this had been going on for about 4 hours,

then I got a barrage of [good natured albeit] abuse from the girls all night, and all because someone else had planted the seed!

it was really funny though, except that I had to get my own beer for the rest of the night,
