SSE advised there would be a Planned Outage in our area from 08:30 to 16:30, to enable the removal of tree branches too close to the power lines.
I set the Time-Of-Use mode on the Sofar HYD5000-ES to charge the US3000C battery until 08:30.
At 08:45 the power was cut, the Sunny Boy Solar Inverter powered down, but our tall fridge-freezer and tall freezer continued to be powered by their discrete connection to the EPS output of the inverter.
We went out for the day, power came back on at 13:45, by which time the battery had gone from 100% to 77% SOC.
That suggests we would have reached 20% SOC in about 18 hours.
The EPS output is 13A, which would probably also handle the microwave, the electrical kettle, and the slow cooker (not simultaneously), so we could have "survived" if we'd decided to stay home.
