What would happen if I were to take, for example, a 230V SDS, chop off the plug, put on a yellow 110V plug, put it in the transformer and start using it?
I haven't really delved in how appliances work yet, but if my theory is correct, it would simply just draw more current than at 230V?
So if it was 800W, at 230 it would be something like 3.5A and at 110 it would be around 7A
Or would it just be heavily underpowered than before?
