Printing from sd card

Hello all,

Is it possible to save a word document from an ipaq onto a sd card and put it into the card slot of a printer and print the word document or do those slots only work for photos? I'm just trying to see if I can instantly print receipts for customers, I have an older ipaq and trying to see if I can use it.

Does it have ms office on there? You could make up your receipt template in powerpoint and save it as a jpg. The printer would likely recognise that.

My printer only seems to recognise image files, but I suppose it depends on the printer

maybe convert to PDF? or an image file?
