problem with megger 1552

no,everything was dead,first fixed,and it says the unit has 11.9v so im asuming the batteries are ok?

 
Sell your Megger!!!! LOL (only joking).had a few things wrong with mine but its a good bit of kit!!

 
yeah it has a cradle,think ive slightly squashed the red + coming from it at some point,but it seems intact,wouldnt explain the fuse fault though i dont think,i really like this tester so am a bit annoyed,sending it back to dover at the weekend,so im on the look out for a box and bubble wrap and a tonne of first class stamps!!

With mine it kept going on and off, when I checked under the pvc cover of the plug that clips into the cradle I noticed the + was rusty and when I gave a tweak it came off, I bought a replacement at maplins and soldered it onto existing cables, that fixed mine.

That is a good tester to be honest, I traded mine for the 1730 which is not as good imho.
