Problems with Siemens MCBs

Why when there is a short-circuit or overload current the MCB will trip (works) but sometimes the handle (toggle switch) won't came down ? This happens with many of my Siemens MCBs. Anyone has the same experienced ? Thanks.

Intermediate setting? need to switch down and then back on?

quite a few MCB's (and RCD's) will only move the toggle to half way when it trips. to re-set it has to be turned fully off, then on. its a design feature a not a faulty MCB. they are sometimes makred as 'trip' in middle position

It's true with MCCBs but it's happens with my Siemens MCBs. Maybe it's too old.....
