There are many reasons why some threads or individual posts are deleted/removed. These actions are never taken lightly and if any mod or admin has a slight doubt the normal action would be to discuss before a final decision is made.

I think this forum above all others has a very relaxed approach and respects members views, this is shown by the heated debates in the past.

I am saying this just because it is what I think, but, if someone chooses to delete something rather than move it to the hidden part of the forum straight away then that person is trying to hide something.

The thing is Essex, one of the reasons I refuse to undertake Admin/Mod stuff is that I am not IMHO familiar enough with the software.

I have looked, and, in a rush, it is again IMHO too easy to delete rather than "move" to the recycle bin, espacially if you are in a hurry.

And I do respect your honesty here Sidewinder. I do. But an 'Admin' should not be making those mistakes.

I really should just ask the person involved but I really do not want to upset anyone.

To err is human, plus, you must have annoyed the person involved, see opening comment in this post, for them to have taken this action.

Admins can make mistakes too, think about your personal track record on here and consider if you attitude had been different, could the response have been different, perhaps, less "frantic" due to the previous annoyance factor?

at the risk of going around in circles I am going to pull out of this one.

I know what I think and maybe the truth is consigned to history.

maybe it wasnt a mistake
My point exactly.

Bloody hell,

You are moaning about getting banned for arguing with an admin,

I got.banned for stating a fact,

Someone.came on with a problem, I gave them  a very simple, cheap, quick, effective answer,

And got banned,!!!!

**** happens,   :C

I forgot about that, Steps :D

I think this thread has more than run its course. I'm going to clsoe it now.

If anyone has issues then PM me. I've offered 3 times now.
