if anyones got a cable calc software is there any chance of typing a few thing in for me. ive got cable mate but forgot to reinstall it on computer after it crashed and had to be factory restored and BGB at home.

your help is much apprieciated.

its SWA 3 Core PVC

40m

design calc 75A

protected by 80A Fuse (in switched fuse)

no grouping

no insulation

not buried (will be under floating floor)

its for a sub main so not lighting.

think thats everything.

cheers in advance

I get the feeling you don't think the 3% volt drop will apply. What's the submain supplying? I've always read it as from origin to furthest point which will include your submain.

From the Donny Cables Website. 35mm doesnt seem too far fetched if he has lighting final circuits from the sub board too. Results Phase Single Phase Power 17.25kW / 75A Length 40m Core Size 25mm² Voltage Drop 5.7volts

Personally I wouldn't rely on their calculations... I sized a cable on their calculator,, 3ph 100A per pH buried and clipped direct,, IIRC theirs came out at 5 core 16mm... I checked by the book and it came out at 35mm

Id calculate it but im lazy and mr Kopparbergs Mixed Fruits are making my vision funny!
