Hi there, I am new to this forum so hope I am posting in the right place. I was hoping for some advice as I will put my hand to most DIY projects but I am no electrician and neither is my husband! I was in the garden using a hair dryer (trying to melt some glue on an old chest of drawers I am upcycling) when the hair dryer just stopped. I thought that maybe it had over heated so left it for a while but couldn't get it to work even after it had cooled. I checked that it worked on a socket inside the house, which it did. I then checked the outside RCD board and noted all switches were 'ON'. On further investigation I can see that my outside freezer and the lights (also connected to this RCD) are not working, yet the RCD says it is all ON. What can I do? Thanks in advance for any replies.
