rcd or not to rcd

im adding a fused/spur for boiler problem is that old wylex board no rcd protection . im planning to run surface

plastic trunking from nearest skt in bedroom.

question

1/is does cable need rcd protection ? i would say no

2/do i need to put an rcd face on skt im spuring off ?

3/do i need rcd fused spur to protect bolier?

Yes thats all is required if only supplying boiler, but what about room thermostats tank thermostat time clocks will/are they surface mounted CJS
