Rcd Tripped, Then After A While Stayed On

I had a similar thing the rcd was tripping every night but only in the  night time  , told customer to disconnect things one by one to see if they could eliminate the problem  until I could get to them because I was busy.In the end customer started to rant at me seeing it was in the part of the house I had rewired.So I went and IR tested it and found it to be low at a socket removed socket and noticed a bad smell, came to find out that the cats were p****** over it by night when they were locked in by night

My favourites are the kettle, toaster, dishwasher, immersion heater and heating pump.  And that old electric bedheater no-one mentioned until the 4th visit. . .
