Would length of ciruit run, interfer with RCD tripping time. I.e time fault takes to reach RCD?
Some misunderstanding about how current flows I think. There is no time lag between current starting to flow at a switch (or fault) and that current reaching the load (or RCD). Current flow is instantaneous along the whole length of the circuit. The electrons themselves move very slowly at just a few m/s though. Think of it like a long bar of steel - you push one end very slowly the other end moves at exactly the same time, but at the same slow speed.Would length of ciruit run, interfer with RCD tripping time.
