Please could anybody tell me, which is the most popular brand of consumer unit RCD's used in the UK?

Firstly - Welcome to the forum.

Secondly, Each Electrician prefer different makes of CU and RCDs etc.

I believe that the most used are: Crabtree & MK etc.

I am sure there will some sparks on throughout the day and night that will give their opinions etc.

i personally try and avoid MK like the plague. depends if you want good or cheap and cheerful.

hager are always a good show, as are merlin gerin. lots of domestic seem to be wylex or mem.

mostly down to personal opinion i would say.

Celco are selling a brand calles magnus and the wylex mcb,s fit ,the consumer units nice to work with too ,my tuppence worth
