I can put pics up at the end of my 1st fix and when I get back for 2nd fix but I dont know when they are going to be spreading it

Well 25mm so what they do is a scratch coat, and use comb to form key for next full render coat, then 2 coats of plaster.

Dont forget the depth of the dimples ! They also have to get the stuff to stick to the nylon/pvc sheets. Not sure if unibond (or similar) works like that .

Either that or battern & board. Usually either as additonal insulation is added which cant be if rendered. Thats why i am intersted in this one.

The last one I did had a nylon mesh across the face which covered the dimples, that was about 5 years ago so design may have changed now.

It was a rubbish system I know that much.

Have been on site today and had a chat with the builder, the new plan is to plasterboard ontop on the membrane, fixing with dot and dab, and then skim ontop of that. With me capping ontop on the membrane and fixing the capping with some sort of adhesive and then using hardwall to fix the boxes to the wall.
