I have just replaced some 4*18watt florrie fittings for customers office, however their isnt much clearance between the suspended ceiling and original ceiling above, plus in places there are loads of pipes etc. and TBH it was a reallly tight squeeze to get the new fittings in, however the old fittings which had 1985 manufacturing date were really easy to remove!

Last year I used Thorn Omega fittings and recently some crompton ones as my wholesaler is not dealing with Thorn any longer. i think the crompton ones may have been a bit more difficult but really cant remember in comparison.

So just looking for suggestions on any other makes that you might know of that might be a little smaller in depth if thats feasible as customer has another dozen fittings that will need changing soon.

cheers

You can get the 600 x 600 without internal gear which are very shallow, normally the gear tray is located on the cable management system above. I doubt if limited space is a problem this would be any help to you though.
