Do the cables come in and out the box in a straight line? If so you could put a small piece of trunking in there.
I think of this different than others. Picture this......If there was a 2,5 T&E passing through the box emerging and disappearing in conduit, going in a tight straight line without even touching the box anywhere, would anyone think of earthing the box then? Not me!
Basically you just need to add another layer of insulation, just the same as the pvc sheath on the cable. A lot easier than breaking the boxes out.
